Window winder channel

Post by BOF »

Hello all,

I need to replace the channel that the side window glass sits in. I have a four door and all have seen better days.
All the seals seem to be readily available from the usual suppliers but I cannot find the metal channel anywhere.
Can anyone help please?

Pete.

You'd be better asking for the complete glass window, the channel will invariably be still attached.

I think this may be what you are looking for. Check it's for a 4 dr first as they are different.

Again thanks for the reply and help.
The bit I was looking for is the bottom rail where the glass sits(the bit that goes up and down). The weather strips where the glass enters the door have failed, over a number of years I suppose and the water had then run down and rusted the bottom metal. The frame (the bit you have kindly shown) seems OK. I'll keep my eye out on ebay etc and hopfully will be able to find the bits I need.
Once again, many thanks for your replies/help.
Pete.
