Wing Mirrors
Hello to all other Minor Owners. I want to fit wing mirrors to my 1964 2 door saloon, but cant make up my mind whether to have the original round mirror style or go for eliptical. Glancing through copies of the club magazine it seems that 'photos indicate a 50/50 split. Any views on the desirability of either pattern would be welcome, likewise approximate mounting positions on the wings. Many thanks,- - Telpet
Re: Wing Mirrors
The only answer I can give you, is personally I prefer the rounds they look better IMO, it would be personal preference I would think, depends wit you are trying to achieve too

Re: Wing Mirrors
All down to personal prefernce. I have round on 4 cars and have the sort of triangular ones on my 63 4 door which give really good visibilty as well. I have 9inches back from the headlight as thats were I think you get the best viewing position.
Another option if you dont want to drill the wings is the type lucas type that fits onto the triangle in front of the quarter light on the door, its a neat option as well

Re: Wing Mirrors
Hi there, - thanks to everyone for comments and advice. I had already decided that convex was the type to have. Will go for the round design. Previously,I fitted these when building my JBA kit sports car and found them excellent. On reflection I think my question was related to which style best suits the car, but again, it comes down to personal preference. Thanks again,
