Hi all,
Iv been trying to find this question out as im sure its already been covered somewhere along the line but i cant find any related posts.
My morris is in pretty good condition as you can see from my pic the paint work isent bad at all. The question is what would you reccomend to bring the colour out?
Wet/dry followed by a compound of some sort and a buffer follwed by some wax to seal it?
Thats the way im thinking of going so any advice would be helpful with products to use ect....
Thanks in advance

I would recommend using a clay bar, not wet & dry. See this thread for polishing / waxing tips: http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17598

I would recommend
For faded paint - T cut
For removing general marks ie dried in water marks (that polish won't remove) - G3 compound
Then finished off with several coats of autoglym super resin polish.

Clay bars are great ,also auto glum (spell checker) polish with a little added t cut works well (polish plus cutter was called trade polish in the good old days )
Cheers Alex

Try the Farecla range, G5 is good, on a polishing mop, but they do different grades, you should be able to get the colour back with this and then finish of with Auto Glym resin polish afterwards, or National Car polish, which is even better!
