SII Traveller
There is an early Series II Traveller on ebay, price £1,000,000.00. Is this a record?

Re: SII Traveller
more than a record, it's likely to be a typo, as it is offered here for £17995.
edit: looks a bit like (and just about as original as) Trigger's broom from the photos

Re: SII Traveller
I think the £1,000,000 price is used to attract attention. Many of their cars are similarly priced.

Re: SII Traveller
I came here looking for info on Sii Traveller, as I have just purchased one that I have been chasing for over three years.
Yes it is a basket case, but I think it is worth saving...call me crazy!
I see comments about the £1m Traveller, not being original etc. etc. maybe not even worth the asking price of £18k?
So I'm looking for input on what mods (if any) are acceptable to the assembled masses; disk brakes? 5-speed? 1275?
Let the games begin

1275 MG Midget engine slots straight in on the existing engine mounts, type 9 ford 5 speed box - most of the main suppliers do the kit to fit this, including bell housing and prop-shaft.... easy swap!!

Plus this has the bonus that you can make it look almost standard, also, in my opinion, plenty of power, it will certainly pull a caravan or trailer easily........

Unless you're going down the really soup it up route with a 2 litre or a V8, wide wheels etc. etc.............
Type something in the 'search' box at the top of the page and see what comes up, there are plenty of threads on here for whatever route you wish to take.....
