duo tone trim
hi does anyone know if they did a Trafalgar blue traveller or saloon in duo tone trim interior if so do they use smoke grey colours
Re: duo tone trim
The duotone was used between '62 - '64 and trafalgar blue was used on travellers from '67 so you'd be unlikely to see many trafalgar blue travellers with duotone interior, unless the interior had been changed at some point. It was however used in trafalgar blue saloons and the trim was blue/beige as below (the same as used in a smoke grey saloon:[frame]

Here's a car with the pale blue duotone interior to give you an idea of what it looks like.

Re: duo tone trim
Why oh why did they stop using duo-tone?
I can only guess penny-pinching as its so much nicer than the later solid colour stuff.

Re: duo tone trim
I think duo-tone was only on "De Lux" models along with ashtrays and a passenger sun visor, from memory anyway.

Yes deluxe only, but also its not so hard wearing and very prone to splitting on the oyster beige bit especailly on the drivers seat! Agreed though I do think it was the nicest of the options on a minor 1000.
