Matt
There are several different ways of fitting Marina and/or Marina derived hubs to the Minor upright/swivel but I have undertaken what I consider to be the easiest and most sensible modification in that by using standard Marina parts where possible it makes life and parts replacement much easier now and in the future.

I have not fitted Marina stub axles. I currently have marina hubs fitted to a standard minor stub axles with the spacers that can be purchased from a Morris factors.

All I have done so far is have a Marina hub (inboard bearing) machined out in order to fit the 30205 bearing. And so, there will be no need to fit the spacers any longer.

But, as I'm getting rid of the spacers, I need a an oil seal that will fit over the 'Minor' stub axle and also fit into the Marina hub (the oil seal housing has not been altered after machining). And as you have said, I could use the old sleeves but modify them. (good option). Or fit a proper fitting seal.

I have found a seal BUT although it is correct on the I.D and the O.D, it is 1.5mm wider than the standard. So if there are clearance issues with this seal I may try the modified sleeve option.

Thank you for putting me right about your non fitment of Marina stub axles.
Nevertheless I would still not have machined the Marina Hub and purchased a new bearing and seal. The adaptor spacer (Pt No MOD118A) whilst not perfect is more than adequate for the business of fitting the Marina disc brake conversion to the Minor. I have used the adaptor spacer in a competition environment and it has shown no problems at all. The secret is to get the adaptor spacer fully home over the Minor stub axle (you may have to remove some metal from the inner edge of the oil seal seat to get it fully home) and secure with Loctite bearing lock making sure that the adapter spacer is held home tight whilst the Loctite cures.
