Aylesbury area -Can you help me look at a Traveller for sale

Post by warb21 »

I'm new here... considering purchase of a Traveller in HP postcode area. I know almost all its history apart from the last 5 years when its been in the owner's garage, SORN with no MOT. Owner won't MOT it but says it runs. Would someone with experience who knows what to look for, be prepared to join me looking at it? I don't live in the area but pass through often enough. Many thanks.

Thanks. Pic to come soon. I'm generally happy with the exterior, its under the bonnet and under the whole car I need the most help on!

Thanks all for your help. I'm not going ahead with looking at that Traveller but for someone with the time, motivation and resources it's a great base from which to start. Advertised in (I think) the Bucks Herald and I know all about its history, new in 1970, up to 2005 when sold to the current owner. Here's hoping I one day see 'Sarj' gleaming again!
