Has anyone got a ...useful tip...on how to solve the problem of my hub caps flying off when I'm driving? It's only happened twice and have turned round and recovered them but don't want it to keep happening, damaging them or anyone elses vehicle.

How do I stop my Hub caps flying off while I am driving. Thankfully it has only happened twice but don't want it to keep happening. Any ideas anyone???

I too would like to know the answer.Ihave only had this happen since buying the new wider wheels! When phoning the suppliers they said they had never heard of the problem before
I have merged this and the one in useful tips... because its not a useful tip!
Its not a problem I have ever had either, the hubcaps are normally a tight fit. I would be inclined to source another (original if possible) hubcap and see if its any tighter
I have found that there are slight differences in the diameters of the smaller Series MM hub caps depending on the supplier, and they can rotate on the studs. I tap the rim with a hammer until it is just off circular then twist the hub cap until it is tight on the studs

These can make it difficult to get the hub caps seated properly.
Yes I have, this may be the problem. Maybe I'll just put the trims on for fancy and just use the normal caps for daily use.
Thanks for the comments guys
