Period engines to fit minor?
Just a little thought, what other engines would fit straight into my minor? I currently have a 950 but would like somthing a bit nippier.. Would an MG engine or a austin healey go in with no problems? Any info would be great, thanks:)

There are a few past threads where members have asked this same question, check them out.
Some engines suggested are Ford Zetec and Mazda mx5 engines

Period engine would be a 1098 or a 1275, both straight forward swaps.
Your engine is very tunable too and happier to rev than the 1098.

And MGB engine used to be a relatively common conversion - although by no means a straight swop........
