the american car restoration programmes seem to be more professional and slick,

pinch of salt needed now..................................

In tv parlance " better production values" :wink:

They both have a formula ,which whilst it gives the show a structure can hamper spontaneity :roll: etc..............

Absolutely right - 'Format' TV often seems to win hands down. Who was it that said 'TV is the opium of the people'? Unfortunately, many in 'The Bizz' follow this dictate - which is why we get an endless supply of complete brainless drivle! :D
That's strange R2, the damage doesn't look so bad from here!
