With the weather being nice over the last few weeks, though raining recently, yet still warm, my lady wife, in the face of my protests, likes to sleep with the bedroom windows open.Now as pleasant and less stifling as this is, I lay awake all night thinking that that every single noise I can hear is someone breaking into/stealing/vandalizing my moggy.
The first Minor Matters I received there was an artical about the rise in classic car theft. The first CC weekly I bought was also about classics theft and anti theft devices.
Hugo has a Disklok, immobiliser and is covered (garage being built in a few months) at the end of a dead end road with no through traffic or foot traffic and we have security lighting at the front of the house. YET with the windows open, every single sound, sounds like night crawlers trying to nick him and I'm up and down at the window.
Does any one else suffer from this 'Auto Paranoiac Insomnia'?
Or have you ever looked through the window and actually seen/caught someone trying to nick your cherished classic?
