Morris Minors whereabouts

Post by Morrisminorsplit »

Hi,
I have been trying to find two Morris Minors which my Grandfather owned and sold a while ago. He is interested whether they are still around. The registrations are as follows, YMH 806 (split screen) and 5207 NG . Any information about these two cars would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks

Hi
According to the DVLA site they are not on the road with the registration numbers you quote

I've checked the numbers on the Transport for London on-line congestion charge payment page (which is another way of finding if the number is on any other car) and both reg numbers drew a blank.
They were most likely scrapped and that DVLA would have laid claim to the numbers for possible auction sale in the future (my conjecture).
The important thing here is that it looks like the original cars may well have gone to the big scrapyard in the sky.
Regards, George.
