Indicator switch cover screws

Post by Fingolfin »

This should be a simple one -- does anyone know what size/thread the screws are that hold on the bakelite indicator switch cover? Mog is missing them, and I assume they're Whitworth because the available American standard screws aren't doing the job.

Fun fact: Whitworth/BSF anything cannot be found in hardware stores in Missouri!

Last time I removed mine, the three screws were self tappers, with spire clips.

Did those on my pick-up not too long ago, definitely self tapping screws with clips as Tricky said.

Yes, fellas, I know that... The trouble is I can't easily find self-tappers of the correct size in the United States, so I wondered what the correct size might be. I suppose I could try and find USF clips...
