finally started to do something steering question

hello all I finally started to do something on the 66 convertible I need to take the steering wheel off I need a box spanner or long socket can anybody tell me what size it is please as I ve got lots off play in it all thou it all been off and painted also I looken at master cylinder all painted but again all seized up so I need a reseall kit now ive come to relize that everything done on this car has to be checked do member have much luck with the reseall kits for master cylinder iam on a very tight budget cheers ,rae

Or just give it a thump with a chisel and hammer......it works. I wouldn't bother with 're-sealing' the master cylinder - get a new one. However it's very unlikely to be seized up - what makes you think that?? The wheel cylinders ARE v likely to be seized up...check them.
