Hello, I’m Milton and it’s been 4 years since I was a member of the MMOC.
Indeed, to my shame, it's almost 7 years since I posted on this site and 6 since I last used my Morris Minor on anything like a regular basis.
“Leftie” has done less than 150 miles in the past 4 years, and has basically just sat gathering dust in my garage. She’s had arguments with the bikes there, been slept on by my neighbour’s cat, had swallows mess on her, and generally been pretty unloved as she has spent the majority of her time asleep beneath her cover.
Here’s how she looked yesterday…….

Yes, I've kept her MOTd every year, occasionally washed and polished her and sometimes even remembered to check that she has enough oil and coolant, but that’s been about it. I have nearly listed her for sale on numerous occasions, and ten days ago had actually begun negotiations to trade her in against a Series Landrover. She was good to go
However, a strange and wonderful thing happened last Sunday in the gentle drizzle at Moffat……….
