Mine's called Wilberforce cos of the no. plate too - WRC
WORLD RALLY CHAMPION springs to mind.
Although thinking about it EL where you reside you could substitute Rally for Rowing

WORLD RALLY CHAMPION springs to mind.
Yes that did spring to mind fleetingly and then I looked at him!
...although of course it would only take slight body modifications and a few stickers and we could fool the world!

I'm afraid I'm probably sadder than most - I've not only named all mine, but even did it alphabetically!
Abigail (the Traveller I still have thirteen years on)
Beattie (BT van). geddit?
Carrie (Convertible, recently rehomed in Ireland)
Dixon (Panda car) - obvious reasons for those old enough
Emily & Felicity (2 short-lived 2-doors)
Gizmo (B'stardised Traveller bought for spares toward Abbys rebuild)

... currently looking for 'Henrietta'....

Mines Betsey, '64 traveller. I really want to change the name but I'm not sure if it'll be handy karma, like re-naming a ship.

I'm thinking Marwood maybe. so if there is a monty out there all we need is a withnail perchance???

My wife named our moggy 'Hugo' after the film where a little boy restores his only toy back to its former glory.
Then my son (without knowing we had named the mog Hugo) told us he's named him Reginald von Bartelsby. :o
So like a good pedigree dog Reginald Hugo von Bartelsby...Hugo for short.
Has anyones moggy got a longer name than this???

My 55 Split Screen is called The Count

Mainly as every time I work on it (no matter how small a job) it always manages to draw blood :o

It wasn't difficult with mine, registration ROX, so it had to be Roxy. She's a little treasure too.

Well... My lowlight - DUD, because his registration plate is DUD, is actually short for Vernon Dudley Bohay-Nowell.

I don't think it's longer but about the same. :D

On the subject of names, my modified 4-door was difficult to name (WRC) as Wilberforce had already been taken by Relfy's car, so the only one that stuck was Lilly. I like that too because being modified and with a tuned 1380cc A-series she can be 'Lilly Savage'

My Trav (E reg) is Emilia
My Convertable (no reg letter) is Mirium
My Pickup (K reg) is KATY
My LWB transit is FLER (reg. letters FLER) - The university I bought it off named it
My SWB transit is Potempkin (Named before I got it, I thought it was P reg, but is actually N reg)
My 82' Mini is called Xena (X Reg)
My '72 Mini Clubby is called Lynda (L reg)
My 2 sprites are un-named at the moment (one is NRD, the other has 666 in the plate)
My X reg focus is called - irrelevant

Mine is Sirius Blue. Because JPX is not lending itself to names and it is a reference to a certain successful set of books/films.
