Well after an engine re build we tracked the problem down! Found it to be the brand new twin timing chain had detentioned.
Also found the reason why the engine seemed so powerful, +60 BHB pistons![frame]Image[/frame]
However it would seem number 4 moves a little in the bore, so I'm now thinking about having the engine bored to have the imp pistons fitted.
