Hi All,

Just a quick update, as John says the Saturday night party is now full.

At present we have over 1000 Morris Minors attending over the two days

Circa 400 cars from other clubs, Bullnose 14, Morris Register 89 Landcrab 25, MO6/80 25+ Concours over 25 cars

The Clubs Centenary booklet will also be on sale. (Describes the history of Morris Cars 1913 to 1984

If you feel you could spare some time to help with Marshaling or welcoming people please let me know via John, as I am at Cornbury from tomorrow.

Weather permitting the Tiger Moth display will place at 3.00pm on Sunday.

See you over the weekend.

No problem with turning up as a visitor on the day, or minus a Minor, just pay at the gate. The rally entry form states £10.00 per car for club members with a valid membership card and £15.00 for non-members.

just a quick ask
if the party is fully booked (which is great news) but i was wondering how i would be able to buy a pint or two only to take back to my tent for a quite night in
would this be possible without having an entrance ticket

The Bar is situated in the marquee, and you won't be able to get into the marquee without a party ticket I'm afraid.

I'm on trade this year, was wondering if someone will be about on Friday evening about 5:30 to direct me to where I can set up?
I'm coming in my mog, but the dad is following in the pick up to drop off all the things, is that ok?

thank you for your quick reply many thanks
had i known that i would have bought a ticket
but at no point was it stated that a condition of enjoying a pint it was deemed that the sales were restricted to ticket holders only
shame though
perhaps i could gain a pint at the staff entrance or stock up before the party goers demolish the stocks haha
the beer was excellent last year much better than the bottled stuff
aw well there is always next year

Don't worry, there will be people on site to direct you to where to go.

Oh another question, are there any road bumps at the park? Or on the road in?

There is a cattle grid. I can't recall any bumps; but some of the advance party will be able to confirm that, probably Thursday.

I'm going along for the Saturday only. I've downloaded the additional material, including the site layout plans. I've noted the locations of the Ice Cream selling points (my teeth won't allow me to each such things easily), the Coffee and Watering Points, the Toilets and Catering locations, but I cannot see any locations for the Fuel Bowzers for refueling thirsty Moggies!
... rest of original post now moved to Mechanical ... George.

Post the question in the "mechanical" forum rather than adding it to a thread on the Centenary Celebration Weekend :o
