I'm about to try and fit the new headlining to my traveller.
I'm wondering if i'm missing a timber batton along the front of the roof joint.

As i'm not sure what to staple the rear edge of the front lining to.
Can anyone please help?
Yes! It's not really a timber batten, it's actually a piece of plywood, so you could make a cardboard template and cut one yourself. I'm not ware of either of the two major timber suppliers producing this part. If I remember correctly (without stripping one of the cars!) it's about 3/8 thick and there are recesses to accommodate the bolt heads - the bolts should pass through the ply, but not stand proud. You need to staple the headlining, and also be able to screw the capping piece to the ply - if you look at the old capping and screws, you will see what thickness ply you need. Hopefully someone will come along with a photo...
