series 2 or very early 1000 traveller interior shot required

Post by AntB »

my traveller has had the hardboard replaced with carpet at some point in the past and i want to return it to what it was, although Rexine has been out of production for years. leatherette will need to do :( . other than the Ray Newell book on the traveller i can't find any shots of a series 2 or pre- april 1957 1000 traveller headlining to use as a template for an upholsterer. does anyone have anything better than these two from the forum:

Hi, page 6 of my traveller resto shows my recovered headling before I refitted it

http://mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=23756&start=75

Its just shaped hardboard and I was able to find a cloth used for making blinds that had a blackout finish to the inside which was easy to glue it on to

Hello AntB, those 2 pictures are of my original '56 SII headling. I'll try to get you some better shots taken with a digital camera, rather than my mobile phone. George.
