Hi Chaps,

I recently swopped out the engine in Gladys, my '69 4 door saloon, from a 1098cc to an Ital 1275cc. Do I have to notify DVLA of this change, and if so, has anyone had recent experience of this process?

Yes you do, and you will need to notify your insurance company also. As far as I can remember, all you need to do is fill out the changes section of the V5c, inserting your new engine number and cc and then post it off to the DVLA. You may need to provide proof of the change. (Invoice/Engineers report that sort of thing) It was a while ago that I last did it, but I don't think that they have changed anything.
