Hi
My 1957 minor keeps blowing it's top fuse, if you try and put another in then it blows straight away. Then one time you will try to put the fues in it will not blow and work for days then pop! The only thing on the car that appears to run off the fuse is the horn?? And the horn works fine until the fuse eventually blows.
My trafficators, lights wipers are all working. My interior light has not worked since I have had the car. It doesn't seem right that the only thing that works from the top fuse is the horn? And maybe interior light.
Any suggestions??
Thanks

Yes, your interior light is off the same fuse. You need to fix it or disconnect the thinner of the purple wires from the fusebox until you fix the light.

Yes. I guess it is blowing every now and then, so could it be that when your passenger door is opened it is earthing a faulty light fitting?

Re: Top fuels blowing
The fault should be between the fuse and the horn or interior light. The other side runs to the switch which earths the circuit so if here was a fault on the switch side it would operate the horn or light, not blow the fuse
