Any previous owners of UTJ 711H?

I bought this well sorted 1275 2 door a couple of years ago which goes a lot better than it ought.

The clutch has just gone and left hand tie panels needs replacing so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and remove the engine. On taking the carb and exhaust off a set of beautifully polished ports were revealed.

I would love to know what else has been done as whoever built up the car up some years ago has done a fabulous job and I certainly couldn't have built what I have for less than double the purchase price.

Hah! Polished ports are actively discouraged - it is known now that slightly 'rough' finish gives a better flow.....
