BMC Rosettes

Post by jaguar68 »

Hi Chaps,

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, if not Moderators please move.

What dates were the BMC rosettes put on the car and where were they placed? Were they external stickers or window cling?

My 4 door dates from January '69, which means she was manufactured by the BLMC and not BMC, amking the rosette difficult to find.

Many thanks.

John

BL used the rosette and BMC moniker well into the 1970s, though not necessarily on the Minor as window stickers.

I think that some of the early 60's cars had them just above the tax disc on the windscreen, but I don't think that the later models had them.
