What are the best workshop manuals to get, I like the Haynes for the photo's but any recommendations would be welcome
I have a 62 two door if that makes a difference
The best workshop manuals for ex works Morris Minors (car/van/traveller/pickup) are the BMC Manuals as they give you everything you will ever need to know when repairing the vehicle. For modified minors use the relevent manual for the modifications fitted i.e. Marina for when Marina disc brakes are fitted and the relevent Ford workshop manual when you have a Ford gearbox fitted and so on. You can never have too many manuals/instructions as they all have their part to play in keeping our Minors on the road. Charity shops are the place to buy workshop manuals and relevent books. Have just picked up David Vizard's How to Modify your Mini from a charity shop in as new condition for £2.99. May be Mini but lots of relevent information and is the companion to Vizards master piece on tuning the 'A' series.

Thank Phil, I have got a BMC manual on the way and have everyone I know scouring the local charity shops so fingers crossed one will pop up.
I totally agree, you can never have enough manuals
Had my BMC works manual turn up yesterday
Its an ex library book and has been loveingly turned from a ring binder to a hardback book, some people are just so thoughtful
Haynes hardback is on its way to me
A little off topic, but what general book on car mechanics would people advise getting? For someone who knows very little!
I have heard the AA book of the car is good?
Sorry to post a little variant on the thread topic. Specifically I have an old 'autobook' on Morris minors which is very informative.
