speedometer cable

Post by TvdWerf »

What speedometer cable is needed for the MM, is the series II cable from ESM (SPD110) the same as the cable for the MM?

The Series MM cable is a quality part with brass fittings, however the cheapo M1000 cable will fit. If you have the original cable, Speedy Cables can repair it

I used a series 11 one which is longer than the minor 1000 one and it broke after a few hundred miles, its been running now for a few years on a secondhand 1000 one.

The outside and inside from the cable is damaged 5 cm from the end, at the gearbox side...
Maybe first order a new one at ESM, and an important difference: My car is a LHD, so the place from the cable is different.
