Chassi number for Convertible.

Hi everyone,I have been offered a convertible first registered 16/07/69 with the following chassi number. M/A2S51253238.
I'm pretty sure that all convertibles had a T in the chassi to donate Tourer but just in case I'm wrong I thought I'd ask for advice here first please.

I think that car started life as a 2 dr saloon - like my own Convertible. Not a problem if it has been done correctly.

Yes, that chassis number relates to a 2 door saloon so check that the conversion work has been done properly, with the necessary strengthening panels fitted.
