Hi does anyone know where I can get a carpet set for a 1952 series mm in maroon. I have contacted Newtons but they dont do that colour because of low demand, any suggestions will be much appreciated

Re: Maroon carpets
Question 1 Do N.C. stock maroon carpet for any other car?
Question 2 If so then why can they not cut it for the Series MM?
If lack of demand is the excuse then I am suprised that they supply any carpets for the Series MM. I would try the company which Laurie Blewer used

Re: Maroon carpets
I bought mine from Coverdale carpets. This was 13 years ago now but they are still like new. They made mine specially in the correct brown so can't see any reason why they can't do a set in maroon.

Mike.
In answer to your questions when I rang NC I explained that I was working on a 1952 series mm & wanted a complete set of carpets for said vehicle in maroon, his answer was that I'm sorry sir but we do not stock maroon carpet the nearest we have is red.I asked why & he said that it was down to demand & I didnt take the conversation any further. I will now look elsewhere & thanks Laurie for your input.Did you use Coverdale as they dont list Seriesmm only series1 (?) series 2 &3.
Havent spoken to them yet, will doso soon

Re: Maroon carpets
Where the original carpets "edged" as mine are not & they are original to the car I believe,I dont think my father would have replaced them 50 odd years ago.Had a look on the net at Coverdale they do a claret carpet going to get a samples

Re: Maroon carpets
I honestly can't remember if the Series MM was recorded on their list or not now! If I remember rightly I just spoke to them and told them what I wanted and they knew what model it was.
