Petrol tank seal

Do i need a gasket for the petrol tank, or will a good rubberised sealant be ok. Thanks boydogs.

On the sender you need the cork gasket.
Between tank and body, something like Dumdum I think.

Between tank and body, I just used squirtable silicone sealant that sets. Once set, it doesn't have the adhesive effect that non-setting sealants do, so the tank will come back out. :wink:
