Hello Friends,
I am in the process of buying a 1947 MM !!! Incidentally the first MM to roll out was in Sept 48 I guess !! Still the owner insists that it is a 1947 model !! Anyways, he has given me the following info:-
Engine # 98025
Chassis # SE-E84015 (or may be CE-E84015 he says)
Could anyone help me with the technical data of the MM based on this info please? I am based in India. I would appreciate if someone from the MM fraternity could help me out with the original data of this car.
Thanks so much
Ravi

There are people on here who can help
Before they arrive you could look at the link below.
The chassis doesn't feel familiar, is there anyway you could get a picture uploaded?

Thinking about it, instead of The chassis number starting SEE, could it say SMM?
84000 though, would make it 1950.. At a guess. As they only went up to 179000

Thanks. Yaa I guess you are right. As per the Engine and Chassis #s it appears that it could fit the 1950s models. Also that its a low light.
Great thanks.
Will update you once and IF I buy it !

If you can tell me the correct chassis number (SMM *****) I should be able to tell you what you want to know.
