Hi. I've been caught out with this one before!!
They are different, although I would be glad if someone could explain to me why!!
The four door ones are narrower, measuring approx. 61 mm long but only 20mm wide. I have a mint and boxed one here in front of me which I bought from eBay hoping that it was a 2 door one! (Anyone want to make me an offer?).
The ones for a two door are the same design and length but are wider, being 28mm wide.
Hope that you find this useful.[frame]Image[/frame]

Hi,
I believe the two door catches were designed to be anti-burst locks, so this may be why the striker plates are larger.
Hopefully someone will be along to confirm or refute this, as it would be interesting to find out.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Hi all, thanks for your replies, its the two door one i need, the spring in mine is very weak so i am not sure it would hold if the
catch failed, is it possible to replace this spring or should i buy a new copy one (not to impressed with re pro parts),
regards Mikey.

MikeysMorris,
If you're not in too desperate hurry, I can maybe find you one over the weekend if you're not looking for perfect chrome. I'll get back to you
