door seal fitting problem

Hi I'm after some help please. I've been doing a full restoration on my 1969 2 door saloon moggy. It has been horrendous at times and many many years to do but she is now looking close to going road bound but I have a problem. I've fitted some new door seals that push on and are hollow and now the doors won't close. I've adjusted hinges, striker plates etc but not much help. I've been told there are 2 types of door seal.......a thick and a thin type. I'm guessing mine is the thick one but I can not find where to buy the thinner type. Any advice or where to buy would be just great. It seems so silly that of all the major work the car has had it is now being held up by something so trivial thanks Dave

Ive found it helps to cut out a small v in a few places to let the air out of the seal and this helps it to compress a bit easier. I cut out a bit just above the top hinge where the shape changes, top of door, corner at back of door and were the curve starts below the windows. Also is your kick plate screwed on as sometimes this isnt done after a resto and can hold the door out a bit.

So which are the larger profile draught excluders?

I have the black plastic smaller profile ones, I could do with larger ones?

Are the original coloured ones larger??
