I have been offered a minor boot lid and luggage rack and a front and rear bumper and valance all in good condition. I have to make an offer for them - does anyone have any guidline price I should start a negotiation at.
Also, did the hubcap on a 1956 splittie have the M embossed on them?
price to pay

Re: price to pay
£50 maybe, don't forget you will need to get them sprayed to match your car.
Are you sure the boot lid is free of filler?

Re: price to pay
a good boot lid would be £40... front and rear bumpers +there valance etc £30 each.
so as markyB said start at £50 you can always increase your offer...
good luck

Re: price to pay
That is the correct hubcap for a 1956 split-screen.
I would say to this chap that one cannot be the buyer and the seller. Good boot lids are becoming scarce, and original chrome is a million times better than repro stuff.

You're quite right about not being the seller and buyer, so ones at liberty to offer a very low price, if the guy says no, you can be sure he'll then let it be known what he has in mind!
