Close date

I have been trying to pin point a month or closer date for when my car was made ,my chassis no.is 1543..and is registered as a 52 .according to production records numbers my car is empire green.?

That chassis number would make it July or August '52. Mike Perry from the Series MM register might be able to pinpoint it a bit more accurately or failing that a Heritage certificate would give you the exact build date.

Thank you Louise,this is the approx time I was able to guess at I tried to find out the build date on specific cars around my chassis no .but this info seems to be elusive .i just found the correct coil for my car with a July 52 mark ,now I can look for the right regulator.
