Can anyone tell me whether the clutch pedal shaft can be removed with the gearbox in place? ie. is there sufficient clearance to withdraw the shaft without it fouling on gearbox casing.
Mine is a late model with the shaft and pedal combined.
I know it can be a problematic job but I will need to allow rather more time if the 'box has to come out.
Thanks in anticipation.
Martin.

Re: Clutch pedal shaft
I think it can, if needed you might be able to loosen the gearbox mounts and push it sideways to give more clearance.
Worth giving it a try before mucking about with the mounts, as you've got nothing to lose by trying

It can, just need to undo the mount on the chassis leg to give room. Tight, but achievable ;)
