Series MM Fan Belt

Post by oliver-morrisminor »

A few years ago in anticipation of finishing the build on my Tourer,
a friend of mine purchased through the MM Club of UK, a new old stock fan belt for my Series MM.

It is a Ferodo V369, a very thick small belt. This belt did fit but was VERY TIGHT with no further room for adjustment.

I have travelled only 1400 miles on this belt and removed it, due to it have three substantial cracks,
and was on the brink of snaping completely.

Purhaps New Old Stock Rubber bits may not be a good idea as purhaps they have lost some of thier suppleness
as the original were back in the day!

I was wondering if anybody knows of a modern day equivalent (just a little larger than the V369),
as my enquiries today have lead me no where,
