And not just by the weather. I trundled from A to B (80miles) stopped. Drove another two miles. Parked. Stared up and pulling out of parking bay. Engine seized and stopped. I flipped open bonnet. And tried The starter. The starter wouldn't turn. Nor does it turn with a spanner on the spindle and the engine is solid when the crank handle is applied. Does anyone have any ideas what I should do next?
Many thanks

Re: Frozen stiff
My first check would be the oil level. Then check the clutch?

take the plugs out and see if it turns over now, watch out for water in the bores,if the head gasket has gone, and it has filled one of the cylinders up it will lock up.
Re: Frozen stiff
I agree with that idea ^^^^^^ water in a bore. As above - remove plugs and turn it over on the handle.

Re: Frozen stiff
Turned out to be loose starter motor. Jammed somehow. Free now and back on the road.
