The bump stop support plate needs to be repaired, but just the bottom, side and lower flange rather than making a complete one as on the RHS. Fortunately, the inner chassis rail is in good condition again, which makes things easier...[frame]

The original spring hanger lower panel was originally a continuation of the boot floor. It has been destroyed by corrosion and repair patches...[frame]

With the inner wing cut either side of the flange I found a very quick way to break the old spot welds and remove the remains of the panel. Like opening a can of sardines, I started to peel the edge back with the pliers, but it takes quite a lot of effort to break the joint. by using the spanner on the pliers the extra leverage made it easy...[frame]

At this point the woodwork was not connected to anything apart from the cab and so was just in the way. I disconnected it from the the cab and used my "call a friend" option and we lifted it out of the way. On this side the boot floor was in good condition along the spring hanger and so I was able to fit that panel before the inner wing. That helped a lot with accurate location...[frame]

Yes Dave, I pretty much had a break over Easter and last week, but started again now. I continued repairing the floor under the LH rear spring hanger and rearward along the inner wing...[frame]
