Clutch Slip
Fitted a brand new complete clutch assembly from a specialist Minor parts supplier but it slips. Taken it out twice but can find nothing obviously wrong, all nice and clean, pedal setting correct. The only disturbing visual thing is the locations of the springs in the release forks but really cannot see that this would cause the disc to slip. The disc is of the segmented friction material type. Any ideas please ?

Tried bending one, they are soft as you know what & opened up again, if the pressure springs are of the same material then I suspect that may be the problem. I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem with a new clutch assembly.
