soldering iron recontamination

Could any recommend me a good soldering iron to buy? I did have a 40w silverline the thing gave out on me.

Buy one that you can get replacement bits for, otherwise, just get another cheap one and chuck it when worn out.

I bought one from Hong Kong via ebay - cost about £3 and works well!

I use a portasol gas iron. I reckon it's awesome.
Variable temp, and comes with changeable tips, including hot air blower for heat shrink and micro torch, and hot knife
