Oil pump drives

Post by Matt »

I know things can be changed... but I am fairly sure mine is standard.

What is the standard oil pump drive in a 1275 spridget engine? Its a goldseal one if that makes any odds?

I would think its a pin drive?

I think it will be a SPIDER drive...... But of course it may have been changed over the years.

The 'spider' for the spider drive oil pumps are very hard to find now so if yours turns out to be one of those, make sure you put it safe whilst rebuilding the engine :-)

If you are looking to fit a new one, not sure if this is any use?
