Hi,
I've posted on this topic previously but didn't get much luck with replies so I thought I'd try again.
My MOT needs doing by the end of this month and Russell from RTG Service who I usually use is out of action, having just had his back operated on (and won't answer any of my calls, still don't know why, it was the guy two units down from him who told me about his back) so I'll have to go elsewhere. Can anyone recommend someone who can do it who won't cost the Earth please?
All the best,
Kayleigh

Re: Garage in Bath/Bristol area for MOT?
Personally I always use the South Gloucs Council depot in Broad Lane, Yate for MOT's, both for the modern & the mog. They are not permitted to do repairs so have no vested interest in a pass or fail. Very thorough. Mine failed on a missing fuel cap gasket. It's never had one in the 25+ years we've had it and never been failed on this. Perverse logic maybe, but that gave me a degree of confidence in them.
(It's definitely an MOT requirement, I checked).

Hi,
Thanks for all your replies, they were very helpful. As it is, I finally managed to get hold of Russell so he'll be MOTing it after all. Thank you again though, I'll keep all those places in mind for if he's ever unwell again.
All the best,
Kayleigh
