Can anyone advise what colour the engine block and gearbox should be on a 1950 Lowlight please?

I have seen quite a few in grey. There are many suppliers of British Standard colours in heatproof matt finish, suitable for engines. I bought a 400ml aerosol can and it was plenty to give two coats and still have some left.

This is a '51 engine, with his first color.
It is the original engine from my car, the number is written below the chassis number.[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame] the gearbox did notg have any paint after the years, and I could not check the number / age.
But a spare box i bought, is grey, another type of grey as the spare cilinder head:[frame]Image[/frame]

I think your car's engine would be Brunswick Gray. There are loads of suppliers online if you do a quick search in Google. :D

Always a pleasure… Never a chore!
