wow looks like it's been a while since it cruised the road according to the tax disc, nice car though and will keep you busy ;)

Kind Regards

Scott

Hi,
It will be nice to see it back on road. Good luck with your 'project'. :D

Looks like a very interesting project. Good luck, and look forward to seeing updates on the resto work.
That's strange R2, the damage doesn't look so bad from here!

Doesn't look too bad for a wreck... nice bootlid and rear seam - keep it rust-free as replacements are either unobtainable or very expensive.

You MUST keep the old tax disc in the screen as a memento of how long it was off the road.

Good luck with what will be a very worthwhile and hopefully straightforward project.

Doesn't look too bad, stick at it, I regret selling mine (it was an awful lot worse), car repair is very soothing I find.

You may be right there,Don't know if they were a better build quality, but mine apart from the sills and rear wings is still original, floor chassis inner wings boot and front wings never been welded, still solid, you can hit the rear inner wings with a hammer and still get a good clang of solid metal, seen a lot of others in just as good a condition. Better quality steel that year maybe.
