1960 4DR Saloon & 1967 2DR Saloon

Post by TimJNV »

These two have been going on for sometime with limited progress however I have recently final managed to do significant work on both so thought I would start to share information experience and pictures.
The Aim;- Return 1967 2DR Saloon to an operational and structurally sound condition.
- 1960 4DR Saloon, to return to as built factory finish concourse condition. to be completed in time for August 2014 (to be hopefully be used as a wedding car at our wedding). I will post pictures tomorrow when I can show how they both looked when started up until now.
Anyone got any helpful advise and previous experience.
Thanks Tim.

Bit of an update, UPJ (2dr saloon green) we have now fitted a new head after a few years without out one! surprisingly it started with relative ease and runs aswell at it as ever done, not that it is saying much! so happy with the rest of it we decided to take it for MOT via air for tyres, alas father deciding to turn of engine whilst waiting to get into tyre garage it decided did not want to start. :-? any ideas? suspect battery????
Anyway it has made it to said MOT with the aide of a tow, its was then decided to move 947 (4dr saloon blue) it the garage UPJ had been due it been bigger, light, and electric sockets, to do required welding on a-post other panel repairs and painting.
does anyone knowwhy i am unable to upload pictures?!
plus what seats/ interior should a 4dr 1959/60 morris have?
