Ride height

Post by fillpoke »

Could anyone please tell me the measurement from the bottom centre of the front wing (above the wheel) to the ground. Also the same for the centre of the rear wing to the ground. Many thanks for any help.

very helpful

in the 'general data' section of the manual, ground clearance is given as 6 3/4 in.
i can't see anything else atm, perhaps BMC might enlighten us as to where in the manual this information is available

I don't think it is for you Matt to criticise my answers.... It was the best I could manage at 6.55 am while rushing out to an appointment. It would hopefully guide the poster to look it up in the Manual. While the specific data requested is not listed anyhwere that I know of, the ride heights from the ground to chassis points front and rear ARE listed in the Manual on page R 16, and this is the information that should be used to set ride height correctly. The wings are not fixed body points - the chassis IS.
