Re: Name that Car Quiz
Well, I'm guessing Kennat's is a Scimitar, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to do the exact model.
Mine, well its not mine actually, is another Hudson. ( Must not get typecast here!). A 1938 model with coachbuilt body by Coachcraft Ltd. It was in Brightwells classic car auction before Christmas. I liked the contrast between the American pointed snout and the elegant English body, but too many cars and too little time etc etc. I don't think it sold.

Not the best picture in the world but the grill might give it away.
My other car and the reason a wide drive is needed?

Re: Name that Car Quiz
Nutts' car is a Marlin kit car and it could have an 1800cc MGB engine fitted.

Now what about this car I saw at the Goodwood Revival a couple of years ago. a very rare sight.[frame]

Re: Name that Car Quiz
Your are correct beero. It is an MGB Berlinette.
A limited edition, coach built derivative of the MGB built in Belgium by Jacques Coune in and around 1963.
I think the photo I posted first shows the car at its best angle (rear three quarters). The front view
below is not so well proportioned with the over sized windscreen.
Cheers Ian[frame]

Re: Name that Car Quiz
You're not wrong, it looks a bit odd from the front, and the sidelight/indicators are the wrong way round to the way the factory cars were.

Re: Name that Car Quiz
I suspose it looks odd because it doesn't have the front bumpers that we're used to seeing on the MGBGT
