Where is our old Morris 1000

Post by Joanne Clark »

Does anyone know where our old Morris Minor 1000 is now? She was sold in 2004 to someone in Taunton from the Morris Minor Centre in Bath. It is only out of curiosity - nothing untoward, just would be nice to know she's being looked after?

It's not on the DVLA database, so I'm thinking you must have the reg plate wrong?

Hi Dean, thanks for the reply. Definitely OTK 132 - confirmed with the Morris Minor Centre in Bath - guess this isn't a good thing, maybe she was scrapped?

A distant hope but the car may have been issued with another registration number and still be on the road.

I have to laugh when I see "type of fuel" Heavy oil, when they really mean diesel oil. True heavy oil at 3000 seconds Redwood, you can walk on it at the present 2 degrees C.LOL :) :)

So the car definately was on the road in 2007 as you can only transfer a reg off a car with a current MOT. Perhaps the owner sold the reg to pay for a refurb on it? It is quite common. There's a good chance this car is still around, finding it though will be difficult.
