Rear Telescopic Dampers

Post by wanderinstar »

Has anyone fitted rear teles using the article in the Technical Manual [16:12] It seems quite easy and appears to be a lot cheaper than the £70-80 to buy the kits available

rear telescopics

Post by Willie »

The item on that way of fitting rear telescopics was in the previous
club manual long before Rob updated it. I have only seen pics of
that type of fitting on various uprated Minors. My rear telescopics
use uprated Mini units and work very well. Your proposed system
cannot fail to be better than the original lever arm type even if it is
not the optimum layout.

My 2 door has a version of that mod, and it works fine.
