I think the only proviso is that you have a limited amount of call-outs each year, to prevent people buying cheap bangers and using the breakdown services as a mobile garage and free ride home.
I know, but the last one I had was exactly the same. Oh it will accelerate rapidly up to 80+, but it just sounds strained at 70 for any length of time. Seeing as the gearbox is in the sump, and the oil pressure remains the same at 75 lbs/sq.in. whether at 60 or 70 MPH, I think it wise to sit there going fast enough to overtake lorries and safe in the knowledge that extra umph is there should I need it.bmcecosse wrote:Well it's a sad 1275 if it can't do that.
